Seeking Advice

If you are having difficulty falling pregnant, you are not alone. I often meet individuals and couples who feel they don’t have enough information or suspect it’s been taking too long to become pregnant. I also meet couples who have been doing all the right things and just need a little reinforcement. It is important to remember that fertility issues can mostly be treated, giving great hope for individuals and couples in this situation to achieve their dream of having a baby.

When should I seek medical advice?

If you have not achieved a pregnancy after a year (or six months if you are over 35) of unprotected intercourse, you should seek medical advice.

Other instances where patients might want to seek fertility advice include same-sex couples and individuals wanting to start the family-building process with Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

Remember that anyone can be affected by infertility and no matter your circumstances, we will work with you to explore possible solutions.
