It is important to remember that fertility issues can mostly be treated, giving great hope for individuals and couples in this situation to achieve their dream of having a baby.
When should I seek medical advice?
If you have not achieved a pregnancy after a year (or six months if you are over 35) of unprotected intercourse, you should seek medical advice.
Other instances where patients might want to seek fertility advice include same-sex couples and individuals wanting to start the family-building process with Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
